Am I strange?

I'm curious if anyone else is like this, my optimal living temperature is between 8 and 12c. I love cold temperatures and with the weather whare I live getting hotter and hotter with this year a month or more of consistant 30c temperatures and above with a 40plus humidex every day I keep realizing how much I love the cold. I know some people like warm and some people like cool temps but i prefer down right cold temperatures. I have to be cold to sleep. Is anyone else like this or am I just some crazy blast furnace ?

I love the cold, living in Canada just makes you have to get used to it anyways. But I hate the heat when it gets up to 27C, but when it's 9C or so I am happy. That's why I always wear shorts and a tshirt, even when it's winter time.

I'm completely like you. What my family considers cold I'm sweating in. I will never buy a house without AC, and even in the winter, I sleep with my window open.

You post on LTT. That alone is probably a pretty worthy qualifier of strangeness. :P

This body puts out such a ridiculous amount of heat when I'm moving around that those standing nearby can sometimes feel it too. I don't sweat much either, so summers do not like me much.

No. I'm with you on this, though I prefer inside temperatures around 15c and outside temperatures between 5 and 15c.

Absolutely hate the heat. Anything past 25c gets a big thumbs down from me, especially if it's humid.

It is almost like the human body adapts to the climate you live in.

People who have lived their whole lives in Tropic 30+ degrees like the warm, and people who live in the North in 10c like that.

Nothing strange about it.

Since I live in Switzerland I really get a healthy mix of both sides of the extreme, like -10 to -15 Degrees Celsius up in the Alps where we go skiing in winter and around +30 to +40 Degrees Celsius in summer where we live. So I don't hate any time of the year because if you dress up correctly and healthy for all seasons, you can really have your fun outside doing whatever you love.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

I prefer warmer temperature, my sweet spot is between 30-45C ish.

Lower than 30, I find it a bit cold, lower than 20 I find it uncomfortable, I might shiver like mental. Below 0? I'll just freeze to death.

I think I'm strange too....

I rarely use my AC at home, well sometimes fan, I usually just open my windows.

As an avid skier, I live for the cold.  If you don't already ski, you should try.  It seems like it's in your blood to play out in the cold.

I do Nordic/cross country skiing. I live for the cold as well.

I'm more of a 10~15˚C kind of person. But I totally get you.
I used to spend more time in a walk-in fridge(kept at 3~4˚C or so) at work than not and it was so comfortable in there during summer... But I wouldn't want my home to always be that cold. That's just asking to get pneumonia or some crap like that due to your body losing too much heat.
The cold is great, you can always put on extra layers of clothes... The heat is awful, not everyone gets to spend their days in a fridge.
