How bad is negative pressure

Hi I’m wondering how bad negative pressure in your case is. I will have 6 and 3 intakes. Other than sucking in dust, is there any performances gain or loss between negative and positive pressures? Thanks.

the only real concern is if you leave your computer behind a dusty shop wall for a year and never clean it.

If you clean it once in ever, it isnt bad at all.

You might have a bit more dust coming through the small gaps between the panels. But it all comes down to the environment really. If you're in a dusty environment, you're going to see dust build up no matter how your configure your fans.

Negative air pressure can suck back in the warm air that was just exhausted from the case. But this is likely too small to matter.

if you have 2 fast fans in, and 3 not-so-fast fans out, and assuming no obstructions on the intake (radiators, mainly)... you probably have fairly close to balanced pressure.

 

try to have a filter on your intake, and make sure it gets cleaned occasionally, and there's really no problem.

nothing to worry about.

 

you already said yourself that the 2 intakes are running faster than the exhausts so you're probably running a very balanced setup.

if you want positive air pressure just have the 3 exhausts on their lowest speeds possible.
