I've changed my ltt profile picture but after uploading the image I was redirected to an error page and now it disappeared

If it's a GIF make sure it's under the 2 MB limit

it is. I even tried to compact it.

tried for the third time and got the same error. Now it's magically working

Not for us the rest. This same issue was a thing some time ago, but I can't remember if @colonel_mortis was required to do something or not.

The forum reencodes the image that you upload. If the image is too big (gifs with lots of frames, especially if they've been heavily compressed in certain ways), it can cause a timeout, which then results in this error. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about that.
