Transfer movies from PC to iPad

Hello. I just got myself a iPad 128gb which is nice, but the things is that I want to transfer some movies and shows from my computer over to the iPad.

And this has been a real hassle, yes I have been googling lika an idiot, and read some guides and downloaded software. On almost everything you need to buy the software, didnt let me try it even.

And then I also get this strange message saying " Install iTunes before starting to use this software " something something. Well the fact is that I have installed iTunes several times now, and I still get this message.

So is there any Apple guru out there that can help me solve this problem with a simple solution if it exists..

Please help!

Thank you.

iOS presents a weird file structure when you connect it directly to a PC. I'm pretty sure you can only see your photos. I think you're going to need iTunes, which I know is annoying, to sync your movies. Try completely uninstalling iTunes and install it again.

My main computer:

i7 6700k || GTX 1070 || Asus Z170 RGB || C.M. Hyper 212 EVO || 16GB RAM || 256GB NVMe SSD || 500GB SATA SSD || 12TB total HDD || Define R5 Blackout || 850W PSU

More Details Below :)

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k                             GPU:  EVGA GTX 1070 FTW                                  |  Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Aura
CPU Cooler: C.M. Hyper 212 EVO             RAM: 16GB Kingston Fury 4x4 DDR4 2400MHz         SSD:  Intel 256GB NVMe SSD & Plextor 500GB SATA SSD

Hard Drive:  WD 2TB Black, 2TB WD Blue, 8TB WD Red     Case:  Fractal Design Define R5 Blackout Edition   PSU:  Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W

Additional Computer Parts: NZXT Hue for LEDs

Peripherals: Dell U2414H (x2) || Corsair Sabre RGB || Corsair K95 Platinum || Sennheiser 558's || Modmic

You will need to use iTunes to be able to transfer movies. Most of the extra software still require itunes to be installed.

I would find something to do a complete uninstall (there are softwares to google) and then try again.

If that still fails, try and get an older version of iTunes and go that route.

Well it looks like I found a solution to this madness!

The solution was this sw https://handbrake.fr/

Just simply encode a video file to mp4 and then drag it over to the iPad on iTunes amd voila.

Thanks guys.
