I'm trying to build a PC that I can put in the kitchen because my mom wants to use the computer sometimes when she's downstairs doing things. I want a case that can mount to the monitor because I know the table it's sitting on will probably be moved a lot. If possible, support for a normal size small wattage power supply would be a bonus cost saving measure.

This PC is supposed to be like $400-500 and I doubt for that price I can get a similar performance to a Ryzen 5 2400G

Any reason you're not looking at a laptop for higher portability?

She just wants a PC downstairs

If it's gonna be moved around a lot, I would just get a good quality laptop that fits in your budget and not have to worry about building.

Do you really need that much performance for it's task? I highly doubt it. A NUC like what @Mooshi suggested is probably your best bet.

What I mean is that she moves the table for cleaning, it's not actually being moved around the place.

She gave me a budget of $400-500 and if I want to re-purpose the parts in another PC, I can do that easily unlike a NUC.

Ah, didn't realize you already had the motherboard and a 3.5" HDD.

Silverstone also has this:

Only thing I would keep in mind is the stock ryzen cooler might be just a smidge too tall for these cases

Follow up question if I go with that case, do you think this power brick would be able to power a system with a Ryzen 5 2400G, 8GB of RAM, and an SSD?

DC Adapter

Probably not. I believe it would need more watts than that, but I'm not a PSU expert. For PSU advice in general I'd refer to @Stefan Payne, @STRMfrmXMN, @JDE, @jonnyGURU or one of the other PSU enthusiasts. I just like PC cases :D

I would also recommend the ISK 110 from Antec.  I built a 4K streaming PC in one of these last year, and tight as things may be, it's been working great.  The included 80W PSU is more than enough for the Ryzen 2400G with 8GB RAM and an SSD, and the open mesh side keeps things nice and cool with nothing but the CPU fan.

I would totally go for that case because it has everything I need inside, but the biggest problem I have is the availability of it since it's a bit older. I saw it on NewEgg, but it's $40 above MSRP.

Edit: Nvm I found it after a few more google searches of it lul
