In the Dutch language we occasionally use letters with 'accessories', like é,ë and a couple more, but these aren't used often enough to warrant a key of their own, so we can 'make' these letters by first pressing another characters (like an apostrophe or quotation mark before pressing the letter e)

well we use them a load, if i had to guess maybe 1/6-1/4 of all our 126000 something words use them somewhere(really, dont quote me on that one its a pure estimation really). they are pretty key to all the nordic languages(exept finnish but that dosnt count :P)

Nahh. I plugged in both.

try with just the one for data? could work or the keyboard might not be fully compatible with the PS4

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Å, ä, ö is an integral part to the Swedish language so it would suck bad to have to press another button to use those letters. :P

Do what I do, when typing French. Alt codes!

Alt+130 for é

Alt+135 for ç

Alt+138 for è

And so on. I know them by hear and real quick to type. :)

Yea, looks like you'll need to order one directly from US (if you order from Canada, make sure it is marked ANSI or US Language, and NOT multi-language)

Ordering one from the Netherlands is also an options, as the QWERTY US version is the standard here, but most other countries around have different layouts (Like Germany having QWERTZ and France having AZERTY). Still a hassle, but probably less import fees than ordering it from the US

I don't speak the language, but have seen it in written form and can imagine having to press an extra button for, what seems like, every 5th letter is gonna be annoying.

Or use the Dutch keyboard layout and just press apostrophe once and afterwards e once and get é. You just need to get in a habit of double tapping apostrophe if you just need the character on its own.

Well it's certainly a possibility but I think I'll stick to using Swedish keyboardmapping in the OS. Most symbol keys are mapped differently in the swedish layout compared to the US-layout anyways. I would get real annoyed when trying to type. My custom 60%:er actually have ANSI-layout but with a short-shift just for the comfort level. Personally I don't see a reason for having a gigantic shift button ._.
