Banned from xFinity WiFi.

I am currently banned from my own home network, and my parent refuse to let me reset the modem. They didn’t ban me either. Does anyone know how I get unbanned without resetting the modem

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

So you have home internet and your parents blocked you? Im assuming they have control over the router.

 

Talk to them. This is when you need a personal solution, not a technological

Call Comcast. If its their modem, they have back door access. They should be able to change any setting.

Let me know if I'm interpreting this incorrectly, but this is how I'm understanding it:

 

You're currently banned from your home internet, but not because of your parents revoking internet access. Because of that, you're trying to find a way to get unbanned?

 

I need an honest answer here.

Something doesn't sound right here. At any rate, if it's Comcast's own hardware, ship it back and use your own.

And if all else fails, reset it in the middle of the night when everyone's asleep. Lol.

I ended up resetting through the Comcast website. It’s fine now.
