My computer recently broke, I have a 1500$ spending limit, maybe around 30 more. I need somewhat decent specs to run Counter-strike: global offensive smoothly

I don't know too much about computers so I've come here for advice on what to get, counting the monitor headset and keyboard and basically all the peripherals.

My previous graphics card was nvidia gtx 650, if possible I would like a 770 or 760.

thank you  :)

What kind of currency are you using?

Do you need a copy of Windows included? Are there any parts you can reuse from your old system?

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Is this in US or CA dollars? Also would going for a AMD GPU work for you? They run a bit better in CSGo than Nvidia as it does have GL support.

Not for CSGo. the 8350 is a good 20 FPS faster in it as it is a very CPU driven game. I5's are a waste of money really for the price.

Oh okay, then the 8350 would be better BUT the i5 is good for the money IMO. The 8350 only beats it in multi-threaded applications but if you compare them core for core then the i5 kills the 8350. Also, the 8350 consumes too much power for the performance it outputs. I'm not a fan boy  but I do prefer intel in most scenarios. AMD is only good for budget gaming. If you PC costs $1200 or more, then go intel....then you won't have to upgrade your CPU as often as you would with AMD.

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

The 8320 and 8350 give I7's a run for the money in games and productivity still. And I mean the 3820 and 3770K and 4770K.

The 8350 will be obsolete very soon, not to mention that the 8350 consumes so much power, outputs a shit ton of heat, and doesn't even have onboard graphics. AMD had to do everything they can to even sniff intel's ass

On board doesn't matter. and yes AMD does have a higher TDP, they always have, but price/performance is better.
