Need help with laptop CPU screw standoffs.

Eharan

The laptop is ASUS gl502vt, after a year of using I noticed a weird temperature spikes up to 90+ C* so I opened it up and found that the standoffs holding the CPU 3/4 are broken. I can't send it to repair so is there any way I can do to keep pressure between the cooling and cpu? Need a permanent solution, I still have the screws and standoffs, just need to stick it back to the motherboard somehow. Thank you.

How long did you have the laptop for? Looks like they went cheap on it, thus why it broke off. Can try using super glue and see if that helps, but it won't last long. Only option is to take it to repair shop and left them look at it. If the board needs to be replaced, then consider getting new laptop, if the replacement cost is not worth it.

I've been using for a year now. Because I'm a broke student so I'm trying  to see if i have any other option other than buying a new one or send it to repair.

Hit up your hardware store for some tiny nuts, bolts and washers, just make sure they aren't big enough to contact any components or traces
