how can I fix my annoying ass mouse cord

RoyalGamer1

so my mouse was shipped with the cord wrapped all nice but towards where it comes out of the mouse it was wrapped a little too tight so the cord is like perma curved. this causes the cord to go under the mouse every time I lift the mouse up. as you can imagine when gaming and consonantly picking up the mouse to regain mouse pad space this can be very very annoying. does any one have tips to help me? its right at the base of the mouse the curve starts about half an inch from the mouse so i can't just put less slack on the cord to keep it straight because then I can't move the mouse as far back and side to side. ive tried just bending it the opposite way to like even out the bend but that doesn't seem to help. this is also a PSA, if you sell a mouse don't wrap the cord to tight lol.

I know this sounds weird but you could always force the cord straight and keep it straight overnight or something and try and get it back.

I hope I helped!

my shitty A4 tech mouse that I use with my laptop had the same issue, I hanged it from the usb connector for a week (to a clothes hanger) and it fixed itself.

edit: it was a pretty heavy mouse though.
