you can buy hacked eBay accounts of good sellers so they probably did they and then posted the scam

Not sure why you want to give him exposure. Report him for fraud and be done with it.

Buy it and see what happens, if anything you just end up getting your money back from PayPal in the end. Maybe he’ll send you a fake item that you can sell for a few bucks and you’ll make some money lol

Hacked account. It's fake. This poor guy is going to lose his eBay seller account because someone from China got into it.

eBay's covered with them sometimes they just take the money and don't send anything but sometimes they send an actual 'fake' card. Watch this it's quite interesting

This guy is selling a new 1080Ti for $188.99 CAD.

Is this legitimate or ....?

What on earth?

No. It's a scam.

BUT

Ebay's "Buyer Protection" means that if you buy it, and he doesn't send you the card, they will forcefully take a refund back from the seller if they do not cooperate.

So TL;DR, if you have some free time, buy this card and be ready to file a fraud claim. if not, hey 200$ CAD 1080Ti.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

It would take 10 days, but if losing 100 for a few days is bad for you and your not a kid you need to get a better job or move into a trailer so rent is only $300 a month lol

Yes but you realize the scammer will get the money. He will dump all the money to a new account and then paypal will just make his account negative and pay out with their own money. So in the end PayPal will get scammed

Im extremely new to Ebay so I did an impulse buy but I did use Paypal so after you guys said it's most likely a scam I logged into PayPal and hit "cancel payment" as he hadn't accepted the payment yet and I got it back.

Is this all I need to do?

Thanks.

Sorry, just took a risk I knew I shouldn't have as it was too good to be true.

Either way, I did get refunded on PayPal so hopefully that's all I need to do.

you can still report the account as a scam. even if he accepted it you would have gotten your money back through ebay's buyer protection program tough. so there really isn't that much to be worried about with these scams.

The worst part is when Ebay and Paypal throw you around between each other.

My bro's been thrown around between the 2 companies saying "no, the other has to help you with that, etc ..."

Till you get mad and they do something for you.
