There is a huge difference between a government aggressively forcing the burning of property because it contains certain content and 1 company not offering you a platform for a video. Trust me I get the sentiment, but the degrees of separation here are worlds apart. You still have other options, you still get to keep your content (no one is holding a gun to your head asking you to give them your hdd's and dvd's), hell you can even create your own website and more content on the subject and talk about it freely. However burning books was taking that content from you, not just preventing you from reading them in certain places. In fact if this was comparable to a book burning then youtube would be the victim too, because they would be the ones having content stolen from them and destroyed, not just he creators.

That meme by all measures is a false equivalency.
