Horizontal PC Case

Hello,

I am looking to build a computer for VR gaming soon. My current mid-tower computer is sitting horizontally on the ground because I have nowhere else to put it to see the panel. I was thinking that I could get a thin case to put my monitor on top of, but also above my desk. The case that was used for Max's build on LTT is too expensive for my budget.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

djtravz

The Fractal Design Node 202 would probably fit your budget and style.

Or the RVZ-02 from silverstone. They're rather similar, but i prefer the slightly smaller footprint and cheaper price (not knocking the 202 though, it's also a good case for sure).

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

silverstone gd05

mATX and horizontal. You should be able to put a decent system in this case AND it should have the rigidity required to put a monitor on top (it is a full metal construction).

The node 202 is nice, but it is only plastic on the outside....as are most cases.
