A friend of mine wanted me to build him a new pc. He has a budget of as close to $1000 as possible and that's what I did my best with here I was also just trying to give him a system that can be upgraded from GPU to storage, though cpu is not a major concern for him as he plays games like GTA 5 and most FPS games. Any opinions on the parts and suggestions? Also I wanted to know if these parts will actually function well togather?

Would that CPU be idiol for someone who isn't sure if they will stream but might?

This build should be better ...

Even if you swap the GTX 1080 for the cheapest GTX 1070 it comes to $1144. A GTX 1060 is probably the best he will get with this budget (Like the spec herman posted).

Actually OP's actual build was around $1200...so...I thought that was the budget...

Fr $1000 ....the 1080 can be replaced by a 1060..

Peace✌
