Great time playing the next Mass Effect game in Montreal. Ambitious. Beautiful. Fresh but recognizable. And fun!

 

Good to hear that they're making progress. At this rate, maybe we'll see a trailer for it at Gamescom or E3, and no later (IMO).

Shepards story is done, that doesn't mean the ME universe is done too. Considering all the history they've got going on they could make a dozen more huge games.

D: i wont survive that a 100% renegade is fucking insane my first playthrough was like 65% renegade 35% paragon

I still haven't brought my self to buy mass effect 3 yet. Maybe I'll try to grab it on sale.

 

Although It will be fun to play someone else instead of commander Shepard.

I couldn't do full renegade either, but I did all the decisions I couldn't do on my first couple of playthroughs to see what would happen and I regret all of those decisions.

Each Mass Effect game had less RPG elements than the one before it, I absolutely detested that about the series.

And the way the game mechanics evolved I think the next one will be even more stripped down.

Yea. It's a shame really. I hoped that ME3 will take the best parts from ME1/2 (RPG elements, dialogue, exploration, etc), but instead it threw them out of the window and it went full Gears of Effect 3. It's still a sore spot for me.

I just finished Mass Effect 2 half an hour ago and the story was damn epic, I can't wait for another one. Even if it's not Shepard's story.

By that description I'd have a sores pot for ME2 ruining the exploration and RPG elements, not ME3. Not that ME1 had much exploration since every side quest was exactly the same. I don't know what you mean by dialogue because it remains largely unchanged, and I'd say improves since your companions aren't completely silent in the later games.

If they do a prequel, we'll still know how it ends in a way.. Its not that the ending was bad, which I didn't really mind about (because spoilers I did the 4th ending) it's just the way I feel about all prequels. Honestly I would prefer it to be set a couple of hundred years afterwards. I would certainly feel better about it.
