Should I buy I5 8400 now and wait for GPU?

So since the gpu prices are mental right now I am defiantly not going to buy one at the moment, but the I5 8400 is only 180$, should I go ahead and purchase now or wait until gpu is lower before my next pc build?

By the time GPU prices go back down(if ever), new CPUs will be available, so that's really up to you.

If you buy now, will you be able to build a computer that you can use right away, or will you just be holding onto the CPU and waiting for the GPU before building the PC?
-If you're just going to hold onto it and not do anything with it, just wait.

-If you're going to be building a PC and use your current GPU in that new build while waiting for GPU prices to go down, go ahead and buy it now.

yeah buy it now. it is a insane performance per dollar cpu so get it

Only thing is H310/B360 motherboards are probably coming soon, so it may be worth waiting for those.

You should be buying an R3 2200G or R5 2400G
