Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Well. Shit. I might not pre-order the Ultimate Edition (FH3). I might not even pre-order the game... Why? Because the money I have saved will be spent on a new laptop for college... :|

Just looked at the Saab. I'm hopefully buying it tomorrow if someone doesn't manage to seal the deal in the next 24 hours. It's in really good shape, everything works like new, turbo spool was actually noticeable. I'm really happy with this

i say get the efi kit. adds a modern twist on old cars. plus, it's easily tunable.

yes, efi gives more tunability so potentialy more hp, but also paxton kit + efi + msd ignition = POWER.

I was gonna get it too, but I'm gonna get paid for an IT job, I am gonna get paid to build a PC for one of my dads friends, ($50) (this is why no one builds custom PCs, because there's NO money in it) and then I helped my grandp with storage this weekend, so I'm gonna do brakes. Steel braided lines, hawk HP+ pads, and if there's a reasonable amount left over I'm gonna try and do a @MEC-777 intake. Duct on the front bumper into a custom air box with the rice "gold foil" insulation, into a KN pod filter, into a velocity stack, to a tube to the MAF and then into the throttle body. Whole thing should cost $100.

Also Mec, how'd you keep the water out on your Civic?

why cant you just build a modified dad`s "periscope"? (he fabricobbled this together at an auto-x once because his engine bay got hot as fuck)

well you can direct the air from the centrifugal supercharger into the roots sc.

man, now that the evo is dead, used ones are skyrocketing in price. a couple months ago, i can see a couple for as low as 17 grand. now they inflated 20 grand at least, because of the "rare" factor. i hate that.
