Is the Elgato Game Capture HD 60 the best capture card to record consoles?

im looking to get into streaming my nintendo switch gameplay and made some reasearch and everyone is saying elgato is the best for the quality and price

 

the only 2 other options would be avermedia or razer ripsaw, but all of them cost alot of money i feel, avermedia is a little lower i might add

El gato actually has another version that uses USB type C 3.0 I think called the HD 60 S.  Supposedly has less latency for just a bit more.  The best of the best is the HD 60S Pro which actually plugs into one of your PCIe slots in your PC but that costs a pretty penny.

a pcie capture card would be the best it has almost no noticeable delay

Yes, that is the best unless you want to spend like £300/$350

I'm not sure but wasn't one of the Elgatos the one that craps out on Mike Mattei from Cinnemassacre in his long Zelda Streams and others??
