Dell Releases Updated XPS 13 (9370) - LaptopMag Review

This is something I've been greatly anticipating, but I'm left sorely disappointed. Aside from the webcam still being in the wrong place, one of my reservations on the last model was no HDMI port. It's doubled down on the seemingly ever shrinking port selection.

 

My take away is: 

• Less ports
• Less weight
• Less crappy webcam (though still not in the right place)

Also they're using 4 PCIe lanes on their Thunderbolt 3 now, which is also used to charge the device, so yay?

 

From LaptopMag's conclusion:

Consumers who demand the longest possible endurance or who can't live without USB Type-A ports should consider the XPS 13 9360, which Dell will continue to sell for the foreseeable future. 

So I guess that's me then, but I wasn't really sold on that one either.

 

Here's hoping Razer announce a revamped Blade Stealth at CES with some kind of bio-metric authentication and a better battery life.

I'd imagine as well as the latest razer blade stealth. Same CPU, same number of PCIe lanes. Should be the same performance (in theory).

Not liking the fact that they have replaced the regular SD card slot with a microSD one. Dongles yay...
