Graphics card. You might have to upgrade the power supply as well though.

Not much you can do with only $200. Maybe an SSD and a PSU that isn't a fire hazard

:)

Likely save your money for the raven ridge APUs, get a boost on the CPU and GPU for your money, we don't have any real news yet though

You'll have to go DDR4 to upgrade to a modern platform, so $200 won't get you very far, and the GPU market sucks as well.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

You can upgrade to an Athlon X4 950 (Bristol Ridge APU-based), with 8gb, and a B350 motherboard, and you'll get much better performance than your FX 4300.  You'd then be set to upgrade to a Ryzen CPU later on.  It's like a stopgap to get you some better performance now, and prepare you for future upgrades.

Just an idea.

Upgrade the gpu

Ugrading your gpu will enhances your gaming experience with higher graphics quality in gamers, rx 460 run modem games at medium settings. Ugrading to gtx 1050ti will increase your graphics settings in games to high and very high and still get playable fps . Fx 4300 cpu perform same as ps4 cpu so dont expect 60 fps cpu demanding game like assassin creed origin.

Upgrading the cpu wont give you much fps chains,rx 460 is a low end gpu so which runs todays games at low and  medium setting. So upgrading to a much faster cpu  like ryzen 3 will increase your fps marginally  . Upgrading to gtx 1050ti will also bottleneck your gpu but u will get more experience for your cash spend compare to ryzen 3 cpu . With 1050ti you  will be able to run games at high to very high at console fps but upgrading to ryzen 3 will only increase fps marginally and u will still be stack with same graphics quality  (low and medium) .
