Some help for a new build?

Hello guys, I'm soon buying a new PC and wanted some advice for the build.

I'll be using this mainly for gaming / video making / streaming. Games I'll play: Overwatch, Doom, Quake Champions, Unreal Tournament, Tomb Raider, maybe PUBG, SFV, Tekken 7 and some racing games like Formula 1, GRID etcs...

Could anyone help me out?

( obs: I live in brazil )

Mobo:
Gigabyte GA-AB350M-HD3 DDR4 USB 3.1 AM4

I have no clue about mobos, would this be good? I like the quantity of USB ports and the apparent simplicity of this one lol...

CPU:
AMD RYZEN 5 1600 3.2GHZ / 3.6GHZ MAX TURBO SIX CORE 16MB AM4
With the AMD Wraith Spire (would this suffice? I heard it's a good stock cooler)

GPU:
I have my doubts about this one...
    1. ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1050 TI 4GB (consideration - around $250)
Easy on the wallet, good gaming performance, and I could upgrade in the distant future.

    2. EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060 GAMING 3GB (consideration - around $332)
Much better than 1050 TI, almost as good as 1060 6gbs??

    3. GALAX GEFORCE GTX 1060 OC 6GB (consideration - expensive, around $440)

    4. ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1060 DUAL OC 6GB (the one I want - very expensive, around $480)

I'm thinking: If I choose 1050 TI, would it be better to go for the 1060 3gb? And if I choose 1060 6gb, would it be better to go for the dual oc?

Memory:
1x 8 GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR4 LPX 2400MHz
I plan on buying another one of this in the future to achieve 16gbs... Good idea?

PSU:
1. Corsair CX550w (the one I'm thinking about buying)
2. Corsair VS500w 80+ White

3. Corsair TX550w 80+ Gold semi modular (expensive, but I can go for it if best option)

4. Thermaltake Smart Series 500w / 600w
5. Thermaltake Smart Series RGB 500w / 600w (I don't care that much about RGB though)

HD:
SEAGATE BARRACUDA ST1000DM010 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA III

Case:
Corsair Carbide Series Clear 400C

Total cost: around $1250

What do you guys think? Should I get some liquid cooling (or better cooling overall) for this?

Welcome to the forum!

Personally I'd go with the WD Blue over the Seagate, but each to their own.

The 1060 3GB is a fine card if you're playing at 1080p, I'd get it over the 1050Ti. However I don't really think the 6GB model warrants that kind of price increase.

Do you mean CX550M? If so, that's a good PSU.

@Princess Cadence might be able to offer some suggestions based on local components and shops. She's from the beautiful south as well.

This one itself is good, not sure if this is the best among mobo you can buy.

Yes

My recommendation. 90% the performance of 1060 6gb, 140% the performance of the 1050ti.

No. Most 1060 6gb OC with similar results. Difference are silicon lottery, which going for the more expensive card doesnt help

1

If the first one has a grey label rather than green, then it is good.

The third one isnt necessary. I'd get it if there's money left after buying everything else

Thanks, and thanks for the quick answer :)
Do you mean " WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIAR BLUE 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA III "? If it's this one, It's surely an option
Yeah, I'll be playing at 1080p and have no plans about changing that so soon. Again, yeah, the 6gbs models are very expensive if compared, maybe these prices are not very good
About the PSU, it is listed as "CX550w" and I couldn't find the CX550m (although I know of this model)

Yeah, welcome to the LTT Forums! So for 1300$ there's a lot of room. Lemme just make you a quick build in Pcpartpicker and I'll get you the link in a few minutes. I'm guessing you don't want to change the case, so I won't change that.

Thanks Jurrunio
I was thinking about going for the 1060 3gb initially, as I don't know the real difference between these cards, so I asked for help instead. I think that'll be my choice
Glad to know about the wraith spire
About the Corsair PSU, yes it is the gray label one!

JDE
I'm buying from " terabyteshop.com.br ", a kinda popular shop where a friend of mine bought his PC sometime ago

mankeez
Thanks! :)
Actually the case is changeable, its just the one I liked the most amongst the available ones at the shop... I don't really really care about all the frontal USB ports in the world, 2 USBs 3.0, a headphone and a microfone ports are ok for me, and the case is kinda good looking ^_^

Prices vary by country, making a list in PCPP won't help a bit

There ain't no PCPP for Brazil, but try searching for a popular component website in brazil and give me the link. Every country has one. For example, Spain has pccomponentes.com. They're TOP KNOTCH here.

I have some on top of my head right now, I don't know if they are going to be quite like PCPP, but here we go:

https://www.kabum.com.br/  (not exactly a pc parts picker)

Little question, what are R$? I know it's the brazilian coin but is it inflated or what? Like some mobos go for 1000$

Yeah, R$ = Real... the prices can go as high as "unreal" :( I think Real is devalued, or whatever the word is, that's probably the reason... and lots of taxes.
