What should I upgrade?

dumsvin

I'm looking to upgrade my PC.
I was going to buy a 500GB SSD.
But I was wondering if there would be a better use of my money to up my PC's performance, since I'm fairly certaint that my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU.
Any help is appreciated.
I'm looking to spend between 200-500€ preferably as cheap as possible.

Could be some Speccy randomness, back when i had the Xeon it would say my CPU was pinned at 90ºc when i could feel the cold heatsink and AIDA64 would say it was at 25ºc.

The cpu , upgrade to i7 8700k , u have a 144hz monitor and r5 1600 cant run some modern games at 144 fps with games like ghost recorn,  assassin creed origin etc . So your cpu is bottlenecking your gpu and even your monitor cos the cpu cant run games at it advertised refresh rate

First question: do you NEED to upgrade?

It feels like it yes, I'm starting to get fps drops after an hour +- of playing league of legends. I'm not sure what the cause of this could be, but I'm suspecting that a bottleneck could be the problem.
