So that's a yes then. I suppose I could have just watched the intro before asking.

They finally got rid of the Geforce GTX logo on the side of the GPU to make it not so confusing. I am suprised that it has 5,120 CUDA cores running at 1455MHz (boost clock) which is slower then pascal, and we are seing a performance improvment.

Why does LTT do(going to do) Titan V review, but not the Tesla V100? They are both aiming for AI, machine learning things, not for gaming.

Well, while Linus does a whole video bitching about bad AMD Vega card. Will Linus also do a video about the high price of Titan V?

Because it's a $10,000 accelerator card without display outputs?

Is it possible for him to test machine learning benchmarks with it??

I don't really know how to reach LTT, but I would really like to see how the cards perform on actual machine learning tasks. It seems like many people are missing the point of the card, just looking at the gaming/crypto mining performance. There are many machine learning benchmark softwares out on Github for free, you can just google them.

The display output. This makes sense. But not the price, both $10,000 and $3,000 are way overpriced for gaming purpose.

True. But yeah, the Tesla cards aren't graphics cards, they're accelerators or GPGPUs, so they can't even be used for gaming at all.

As least one Tesla card has display output, the C2075. It can be used for gaming.

I agree with Linus about how tacky the card looks, gold plated 'stuff' was out of 'fashion' in the mid 90s ....

Overclocked the Titan V can achieve the same clocks as any other Titan Xp (around 2000MHz)

Of course there's a perf improvement. It has 1280 more core cores than the Titan Xp and 1536 more than a 1080 Ti. The Titan Xp and 1080 Ti have to go really fast to even be challenge for this card .

I don't think so, most people would agree that gold plated items look ironically cheap and tacky

You probably have to ask Jensen Huang. Or Donald Trump, his private jet(2014, before he is President) has gold seat belt buckles and faucet.
