Complete noob looking to learn how to use Davinci Resolve 14 (free version)

I never video edited before, but I have used Photoshop a lot if that makes a difference. All I can figure out how to do is drag shit onto my timeline and separate and rejoin clips. That's it. I'm not trying to do anything specific (for now), but I just want to know some basics. Thanks!

Watch youtube videos and just screw around with it. Just get some test footage and click random stuff and see what happens
