Noob needing first build help

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/9fGTXH

Building my first PC, it will be mainly just for gaming (Fortnite, PUBG, Doom. Rocket league etc.) and I am stuck on video card. Im deciding between Gigabyte G1 1080 or the Gigabyte Windforce 1080. I want to keep it closer to 1500$ CDN with my build. I dont know a whole lot so I just looking for any and all help. Will I notice a big difference if I choose to go Windforce over the G1? or do I just bite the bullet and go G1? Thank you for any help!! (Also I already own a 1080 144hz monitor and I own the Fractal Meshify C case)

Ok heres what I'm gonna do, I think Intel might be a little more suited for you on this build. I think I can fit you necessities in your build.

This will work way better for you, 1080p 144hz does not need a 1080.

I agree with the others in this thread.

For 144hz gaming, you really want to go Intel for sure.

You can also get by with the GTX 1070 or 1070ti to save a few bucks on what you will need to spend to go the Intel route, which will net you that 144hz at 1080P no problem!

I agree on the Intel chip. If you're primarily gaming and want the highest FPS possible, then you want Intel.

I also agree that the 1070 will be enough video card for you at 1080p high refresh gaming. I do NOT recommend the 1070 Ti. For the price difference between the 1070 Ti and the 1080, you might as well get a 1080.
