I have been a long time watcher of LMG but I only recently joined the forum to ask this question. I have always wanted to attend one of the conventions that we see video highlights of on this and other channels. I am interested in computer hardware technology, and not necessarily gaming. If I wanted to attend one of those conferences (I am not over the age of 18 and I live in USA), which ones should I consider?

I wouldn't attend any if you're under 18 unless you got someone to take you or it's near where you live.

You will be attending an event with a ton of stuff you can't afford to buy surrounded by people who don't shower. Doesn't sound fun to me

For this reason I've never been to any. Maybe some lan parties next year if time permits though.

OH yeah, let the OP go to Vegas. Vegas will suck any ounce of innocence the OP has left. That place is made up of Sex, Drugs and Rock N Roll. Not saying thats a bad thing. But the things I saw there in October lead me to believe, you are a bad parent if you let you child go to Vegas. Sadly there were a lot of children in our Hotel.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

The only convention you can go by yourself is Computex, which is located in Taiwan and starts every year around early June. CES is difficult to get in and the only way is if someone you know works in the tech industry. Now if you do get into CES, everything is extremely expensive.

Maybe some autoshows, I think they lets young people in with a adult.
