Best ryzen 5 to pair with gtx 1050ti.

I am planning to get a 1400, but I can increase by budget to for a 1600 . But will that make any sense with a 1050 ti.

the 1600 is just worth it those 2 extra cores for not that much money if you can afford it get the 1600 you could also get a 1060 with a ryzen 1400 instead

R5 1400 with 1060 3gb seems to be a better deal in terms of getting more frames.

I already have  a 1050 ti . And 8th gen i5s have availability issues where I live

For 1080p gaming, 60fps constant, medium settings, the 1050ti will sure deliver that type of performance. If your looking into 1440p gaming gaming, 60fps constant and medium settings or higher, then a GTX 1060 would better handle that. I'd just get the R5 1600 with a GTX 1060 6GB or if your not doing much work with premier pro (only light work), then saving some money and getting the R5 1400 with a gtx 1060 6GB would be better value for money. If you cant afford the 6GB model, then the 3GB is another option to pair the 1600 with, otherwise, the 1400 with the 6GB model is the better deal.

If you're mostly gaming: 1400

If the performance om editing programs are very important, i would recommend getting the 1600

Bro here we are getting a 1050ti for around $187 and a 1060 3gb for around $308.

Then wait for the black friday sale and then get the 1060 3GB, otherwise, keep your 1050ti and upgrade if necessary.

I would go in between with a 8400. And if not id pick 1600 over 1400 but on topic the 1400(oc) is a good pair allready. The 1600 will drag more fps out of ur card and the 8400 even more.

In this case, Ryzen 1600. It's enough for you until... it stops working I guess?
