Nah, I'm just joking. Odds are that around January prices should drop significantly. Until mid-November they'll likely be sold out or expensive and after that it will be the holiday season. After that passes they should be super cheap

I have a extremely tight budget like i can barely get the 1070 ti since i got to get a new psu cpu motherboard ram and cpu cooler i have a 1060 right now but im selling and upgrading

wasnt looking for that much of a price drop but 400 is a lot since the msrp is supposed to be around 7700k

i want that 6 core 12 thread mainstream ive been using cheap amd chips my whole life and want a taste of the good stuff and not ryzen because i want to get away from amd for a bit and single core proformance

I always am changing systems and planning builds a few months in advance so I don't really mind waiting. It would be nice to already have but honestly I don't really mind.

im also trying to get my brother to upgrade his sandy bridge i3 to a coffeelake i3 or i5 but told him to wait till the new boards come out

yeah but like i said the last few days i have seen the 1080s for cheaper than a 1070ti ya might as well get thatjust look around i know evga bstock has 1080s for even cheaper like 429 for one

You should only buy the i7 8700k if you'll pair it with a GTX 1080 Ti (TITAN Xp for the lulz), being realistic any thing under it you're better off with the i5 8600k (taking into account you want a gaming rig).
