simple question why do they even make duel 40mm rads?

I guess for really small form factors?....Yeah I'd never get one either.

And it exists for compact systems that may have space in the back of the case for twin 40mm fans. It would help take a couple of degrees off temps

A 1U server is very height constrained.

It's not intended to be a main rad, More so to supplement a bigger rad in a small form factor system. If you have somewhere that has a mounting option for twin 40mm fans you may as well make use of the space there

I can't think of a single case that has 40mm mounts

Well I used one for a itx htpc build with 4 40mm scythe fans in PnP and it rocked the cooling! The rad fit snugg in the place for the barebone psu and it's all powered by a pico psu. IF I have the time I'll post it herre on the Forums during the holidays.
