What Phone should I buy?

So, I've decided to start saving money (as of less than an hour ago ) for a new Phone.

 

I have a bunch of requirements:

• Water resistance (IP67/68)
• Good/Great Camera
• OS Support for 2 or more years (preferably 3 or more)
• Headphone jack is preferred but not absolutely necessary.
• Good App Support is absolutely necessary
• Good build quality is proffered
• Good battery life (at least a day of mixed usage)
• AC Wi-Fi support (Preferably with MIMO)
• A proper "Quiet Hours" alternative supported on the device
• NFC Mobile Payments such as Android Pay or Apple Pay. Samsung Pay is a no no.
• Device must accept Nano SIM
• 64GB of Storage or more.
• Device must be purchasable within the UK and work on UK LTE bands
• Device should be able to last over 2 years of usage
• Device should have an accessory ecosystem of some sort so that I can buy a cheap case for said phone.
• Oh yeah and Fast LTE doesn't hurt
• I'd probably use the Phone in Mobile App Development so something which doesn't require me to buy loads of hardware to make mobile apps with would be ideal.

 

Not entirely sure about Budget. Definitely less than 800 GBP for the phone itself (which the iPone 8 Plus 64GB barely is cheaper than lol).

 

So yeah, what phone do you know of which meets my requirements and is good?

There really aren't any decent options right now.Either get a S8 or a iPhone 8

Or you could wait for the Pixel 2

There's "Do Not Disturb" but you could probably set up something with an app like tasker to turn on Do Not Disturb at a certain time or place.

But how expensive will the Google Pixel 2 XL be? I prefer devices with large screens (within reason) .

650 for small, 850 for large. Both have 64gb, 128gb is  $100 more.

S8+ or V30. You can ignore Samsung Payment in S8+ and can still comfortably use Android Pay if desired.

I recently just got an LG V30 after waiting a year for the Pixel 2 only to be disappointed.

 

64GB storage, expandable to 2TB, headphone jack with quad dac, much better battery than my Nexus 6P, loaded camera options, nicer looking than a old co-workers S8 and it's not splitting in half like iPhone 8

 

Just an FYI, the Pixel 2 XL is made by LG, but you lose expandable storage, headphone jack get a single camera in the rear and pay a premium for those omitted features.

the lg v30 has one of the best cameras and lg has a good history with software support ( it still supports a 2 and a half-year-old phone) plus you get smaller bezels and better support for Google software.  if you want something cheaper  id go with the lg g6 or the pixle2

LG does NOT have a good history with software support. And they don't have a good history with hardware support either.
