Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-571-77QK Gaming Notebook

I'm looking for something in this price range, 1080p, portable enough, good performance in smaller titles and some newer ones such as the new assassin's Creed (only just saw it on steam). I know some may say it's overkill for some titles like Rocket league and Diablo III, but I don't want to have any issues.

Not a big deal to me, used to that over the years with dead battery issues.

I wouldn't be able to stand it lol. I specifically bought a thin and light because I wanted to be able to use it for more than a few hours off the wall and be able to take it places without having to carry my power brick all the time.

Well, I have a cheapo hp stream that I use now for DBZ binging that I can use for up to about 13 hours no charger. I want something I can actually game on, I don't mind being tethered to the wall. Lol

Judging by the specs it's quite nice and the Acer Predator gaming laptops are quite well built. Keep in mind it's a red backlit keyboard and battery is never great on gaming laptops.

Not huge into the whole OMG RGB thing so solid red is good enough for me. I have no problem with essentially wall-tethering. Lol

Considering its price point, your getting good value for money for a "gaming" laptop at this price. Generally acer's laptops have good build quality and aesthetically, they look great from a gamers perspective in terms of the red theme and brushed aluminum feel. Dont expect superior battery life when gaming, but general productivity wont be a problem in terms of battery life. I have noticed in the predator software preinstalled with the laptop that there is a function where you can ramp up the fan speed to max, and I can say that it sounds like a jet engine.

msi has better customer support anyways

Thank you for that but I'm not looking for high refresh rate, RGB, that's all just extra nonsense for what I'm looking for. In the future when I save up some serious cash, I'm doing a balls to the wall desktop. This laptop would be for media consumption and ABSOLUTELY no stutter/lag light gaming.
