Would help to know your system specs as they currently are. We can't recommend an upgrade if there even is one in your budget if we don't know what you have.

The performance tab in task manager is a good way. That will tell us what CPU and how much RAM you have. Or you can click start, type in dxdiag and run that. The System and Display tabs will have all the info we need.

pressing performance in task manager will show the cpu and ram. device manager shows the cpu and the gpu.
