Linus' Eating: People Complain About It?

This absolutely perplexes me.  Luke and Linus work their asses off to bring us the WAN Show every week.  In combination with the Tech Quickie channel and raising a family (Linus), I cannot begin to even fathom how they juggle their schedules as well as the rest of the crew.  Didn't Luke say he feel asleep at the computer doing benchmarks a few times?  Linus eats during the show sometimes.  Okay and the problem is what exactly?  If it weren't for their already tough schedules, it would be cool if there could be a LinusCookTips channel (a dude can dream) because some of that food looks absolutely delicious!

TL;DR -- Linus eats during the WAN Show.  U mad bro?

My PC specifications are in my profile.

I don't see the problem either. Don't know why some people do.

Because some people have to QQ about everything in the world.

I live in Asia, and talking while eating shows the lack of respect to the person you are talking to. (Akin to eating while your mouth is full)

But I don't care, but I know some people do.

I mean if hes chewing with his mouth wide open that'd be one thing. But, if he's okay with eating in front of an audience and not doing it disgustingly, then I don't see the issue.

I haven't seen or heard anyone seriously complain about them eating on the WAN show. They used to do it all the time, even way before it was called the WAN show. Anyway, I love seeing LTT's un-professionalism evolve lately. At first, it started with Slick accidentally saying "F*ck" on the stream, then the live caller's ringtone, then Linus saying Penis extension instead of PCB extension, then 720penis, and so on.

Mods order Pizza and Cake --> everyone loves it

They make their own food --> "everyone" looses their minds

It doesn't bother me as long as they still keep the show running and I don't sit there and have to just watch them eat. But they manage this quite well so I have absolutely no Problem when they eat during their show(s)

I love the format of the show.

I know its in Linus' best intentions to become a more established and cemented figure in the Tech scene, but the balancing act of that and the audience he caters for must be a real challenge.

YouTube isn't, but can be, a very recognized (yet) professional format for distribution. Although, given its diverse nature, its open to all ways in which content can be created and divulged by whomever is interested.

Linus' form of presentation has always been enjoyable, personally. It's laid back and informative, but also doesn't come across as a smart arse, just informed and confident. With a mind for morals and consciousness within the tech community, in where it is heading and ideas. He gives perplexing and thorough viewpoints from all sides, areas in which you wouldn't usually think, in which he has a real forte over other YouTuber's just thanks to his past in different positions at tech companies.

I love the WAN show as its relaxed and 'playful' in a sense, yet giving a good roundup of the latest news. Great for watching on a Saturday morning, something funny and informative to start the weekend (archive).

Although professionalism will, by the nature in which I presume Linus wants to go forward, be more enforced in future, the Linus and Slick antic's really make the show its own and enjoyable to watch, with an episode not going by without catching me in hysterics at some point.

I have to say the funniest show to date was last weeks. The half and hour at the end where its just -what is actually going on here?- Linus kinda mentally leaves and its just watching them derping about for half an hour, it was hysterical! xD

TL:DR, I have no issue with it, I enjoy the show as-is. Let them eat, they've worked bloody hard for it. They don't owe us anything and nor do we them, we tune into their content. If you don't like it (without providing constructive criticism), -bye!

Totally read that title wrong.....

But I don't care that he eats. A person needs to eat and the people who don't like it....well to bad this is the real world you don't get what you want.

I think it's personal opinion with regards to eating on the show, for me it doesn't bother me at all, if it really irks you like Linus says there are literally hundreds of other sites that do similar things like their channel. That being said when they do stuff like that, or some of the jokes they have, I like that they do that it makes them more down to earth in my opinion, and if I wanted to watch a totally professional show I would watch 60 mins, but thats not what I came here for. I came to see interesting, and honest opinions about tech, with no PR bull crap behind it, presented by people I can relate to.

To all those complaining about, it would be a different story if you were producing the show, which you most likely are not. So quit complaining unless you are going to pony up some cash to help them produce the show.

i dont see a problem with it at all in fact i actually like it because it shows that they are real people and not just cooperate puppets who will do anything to please a company. the unprofessional way that the show is done is one of the reasons it still grows gaining nearly 500+ viewers a month i mean last month he averaged around 5.2k now he is getting about 6.1k thats insane i love linus and am personally glad he is the way he is haters can SUCK IT
