you should not get a overclockable k series processor with that mobo cuz u can't overclock with the b250 chipset and get an ssd

get faster ram, Z series board, better PSU, better CPU cooler and maybe think about getting a SSD.

 

Also maybe wait for the gen, it shouldn't be too far away.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Looks pretty dope. Only thing I would say is:

 

  • Get a PSU with sheilded cabled. (Unshealded is ugly).
  • Get an SSD

The 7700k paired with a good 1080 has great performance even gaming in 2k max, so i would drop down to that and upgrade your motherboard to a nice z270, around 3000 ram, toss in a 250GB SSD, and if you could squeeze it, an AIO cooler to give you some overclocking options down the road (that cpu runs hot). If your an OC enthusiast, i love the STRIX z270 Gaming-E motherboard from asus. the overclocks on it were pretty nice, and you can check it out at hardware unboxed for a good review, but its spendy, so if not an OC'er, buy a basic z270 board.

This includes a 1080 Ti instead of a 1080. Remove the small SSD if you want to stay within your budget.
