The 4XX series where well know for being power hungry beasts and heat ovens.

I never had a 4XX card, but I did have 5XX cards which could pull some watts and be some serious space heaters.

Nice haul! :o Damn. Really sad that companies throw out stuff like this. 

 

GTX 460's aren't that powerful by today's standards - trades blows with the GTX 750 (non Ti), but still decent. Especially for free. ;)

Y'know, I'd love one of those 460s :P Fermi is my favourite arch simply due to the thermals. I like my GPUs hot.

 

EDIT: I mean, I do have an R9 290 with a BIOS that allows it to theoretically draw 864W.
