How far apart are a 1050Ti and a 780 in both older and newer games?

And don't tell me to get a 570/580/1060 -- I'm not looking to buy a card right now, I'm just curious how the two compare.

In BF1, techspot put the 780 about 17% ahead of a 1050Ti.

No. GPUboss doesn't show benchmarks or anything remotely useful, just throws out useless graphs and irrelevant comparisons.

The 780 outperofrms the 1050ti probably on any thing... sure the newer games see more optimizations for the 1050ti but the 780 is an old power house... the difference between them may be very narrow on the latest titles but the older ones 780 wins no doubt.

Well it does show benchmarks. The more popular cards have average framerates for some gaming benchmarks.

Given the current market, I say keep the 780. At current prices, nothing between the 1050 TI and the 1080 is really worth consideration, and your 780 is already at about the level of a 1050 TI, or close to it anyway.

780 is faster, but has no driver support. It's pretty much a lottery, in some games it will be quite a lot faster than the 1050Ti but there are games in which those cards might actually be around equal.

The 780 Ti or just the vanilla.... Either way I can't imagine the 1050 Ti having as much RAW horsepower in any title. However... at this stage in the game would you really want an old used 780 or even 780 Ti when you could probably get a used 970/980?

I'm not considering buying either. I have a 780 that I'm thinking about selling since I don't really need it right now, but I wanted to know how much I'd have to spend if I wanted to buy a replacement in three future.
