Intel i5 budget build

In averages, very slightly, but the 1% and 0.1% lows, which are just as important were much higher on the 1600. If you don't want to get an AMD CPU, just get an i7 7700 with a B250 board (performance is the same as the 6700K), just don't get a 7600K :/

Or, wait for Coffeelake

Why not get 7600k

Yes, way more than 60FPS

Because it sucks. The i7 7700 is much better and costs the same (because you don't need an expensive Z270 motherboard and it comes with a cooler) and the Ryzen 5 1600 is cheaper and better.

And do they have any evidence to back their claims up?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Ok so do u promise that if I went with a gtx 1060 3gb or 6gb and a Ryzen 5 1600 6 cores OC will I get above 60 fps on high to ultra and won't drop below 40 and stay Along the 40 route for long or will I shoot back up and will this be faster and better at gaming than i5

Ryzen get like 1-2 fps less than i5, but it has 5-10fps more minimums = less dipping and less stuttering.

If they use a lot of ram no, but if they used a lot of ram the i5 couldn't handle it with 8gb ram too, but yes
