First PC Build

I am looking at building my first desktop PC and have done some research and picked out these parts (look at list). I plan on using it for gaming, video editing, streaming and just general use. I sit basically right on budget too, so not looking to upgrade many parts without downgrade others. Also i want to be able to play AAA games.

you dont ened a 750w psu

nvme isn't needed, 600p is bad anyway

get high speed ram, 3000-3200+

Havent got time to correct it myself, but I'd give it a 6/10.

 

1. Ryzen loves fast RAM, so get 3000MHz ones (3200 ones are expensive for that extra speed)

 

2. Either get a cheap ~120GB SATA SSD as boot drive or 240GB+ Samsung drive as a fast storage drive. Intel SSDs suck anyway. 3. A 550W unit is already enough for your build. Unless it is the cheapest PSU that has good quality and on or above this power rating, get another one.

for 20 bucks i get 1 extra tb, so its worth, also the 250gb ssd, means that i can have games and some programs in it too

You're talking maybe 350W in a worst-case scenario. Your friends are overestimating the power consumption of the rig.
