"Buy again" products

Inspired by Mooshi's "Never again" products thread. Instead of products you would never buy again, if you went back in time, which products would you buy again and why?

 

For me, I would my my Audio Technica ATR2100 microphone again because of its lifetime warranty and customer service. I once lost my usb cable after moving and after asking them what kind of usb cable it was, they shipped the cable to my house, no questions asked. I also accidentally dropped my mic off my desk several times until I was having low output. I was able to send it in and received a new one with all of the cables and tripod stand.

 

I also really enjoy my CALs (Creative Aurvana Live) headphones because of the sound quality it delivers for its price. I personally prefer the sound quality over other closed headphones like the Beat Solo2, ATH-M50x, Meze 99, V-Moda Crossfade M-100. Unfortunately, the isolation is quite poor and the build quality feels cheap, but is it only a fraction of the cost of the other headphones mentioned and no amp is required. I wouldn't feel bad about breaking them and I've had no issues with them after heavy use for 2 years.

tbh its actually quite easy, the trick is to make it look clean and tight from the frontside of the case, but make it a massacre from the backside.

Only thing tech-related I will continually purchase, is an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 - I had one back in the beginning before my cat at the time, destroyed the cable, and just my luck, they had discontinued it at that point.

 

eBay had dried up, and the only way I found to get one was a bulk order at like $2000 or something stupid, so I had to go to an MX518 and a Razer Diamondback before Microsoft came to their senses and re-released it. I bought 2 immediately, and might buy a few more just to ensure I'm never without one.

Edit - That, and EVGA GPUs, thanks to Zando for reminding me. My last four cards have been EVGA.

Sony MDR xd100 headphones, bought 3 pairs for 15 dollars each like 6 years ago and they still sound better than most 100 dollars headsets (with an amp of course) 12-22k hz response with a 11.5 foot cord and 70 ohm impedance plus so light you dont notice they are on

Sapphire- AMD GPU AIB partner of choice

Bose- Their IEMs are the most confortable on the market, so they're good for when I know I'll be listening for hours.

SSDs- No PC built today should be without one.

Arctic MX-4 thermal paste- Stuff is cheap and good

HP- Their buisness monitors are good enough to be a inexpensive 2nd or 3rd monitor that won't hurt your eyes, as they get dumped on eBay for almost nothing by buisnesses that are upgrading time to time.

AMD- I've been a fanboy since Athlon 64 days, when I replaced a P4 HT with a dual core athlon and it was glorious. Been using AMD in my desktops ever since. Though I wasn't crazy or blind enough to pretend the FX line was competetive in performance when Haswell came out, and I wouldn't buy a AMD APU laptop until they update their laptop chips with 14nm.

A pair of EVGA 7950 gt GPU's. They just wouldn't die. Outlasted every other component in the original build, and many other components in three more mods. Been a fan of EVGA ever since.

Practice with the 22lr weapon is cheaper than 9mm or 45ACP. Indeed, everything is not just a practice. Sometimes fun or pest control.

Tech related?

Logitech G602.  I just love this mouse.

Crucial RAM.  I've never had issues with Crucial.  I know other brands are good, but I've always had the best luck with this brand.

WD or Seagate.  They make good hard drives

Gigabyte, EVGA, or MSI for Nvidia GPUs.

Sapphire or XFX for AMD GPUs.

 

For other things?

.22LR, .45 ACP, and either .223 or 5.56 for ammo.

 

 

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

My favourite socks. I bought 4 pairs of them, they were great but after a while they started to wear out. I wish I bought more, now I can't find them again and that makes me sad :(
