How to get old Minecraft

you sign in with the account you bought minecraft with. that's the only way. the old launcher and new one aren't intrinsically different AFAIK, just a reskin.

I sure hope you did transfer your Minecraft account to a Mojang account, when they asked which is like two or three years ago at this point.

Well you had to turn your mc account into a Mojang account a while back. So I assume you didn't do that and it won't let you anymore so rip? Send a support ticket if you still have the purchase email or download code to prove you bought it.

You still need to download old MC versions through the launcher, so you're gonna need to figure out how to log in again.

You had to change your mc account to mojang about 3 years ago.
