Arctic silver MX4 safe for GPU?

I'm going to be replacing my Fury X cooler with one that doesn't have pump whine soon and I need to know if Arctic silver MX4 will be safe for a Fury X GPU, mostly with the HBM modules being on the die.

 

Also how much thermal paste should I apply to the GPU and HBM die? I assume it's going to be different from a CPU or maybe even a normal GPU.

it's  arctic mx4 or arctic silver. at least i assume that's what you mean. 

 

mx4 is non conductive and advertised as such. i used it on my 1080 ti and its fine.

Well I used MX4 on my Fury (& waterblock) and it still works sooooo... :P

When you applied it did you put any on the HBM? How does that work?
