Corsair K70 Cherry MX Brown vs Red

Go to solution Solved by Chaos_Sorcerer,

Meh...I would recommend the Browns...but like Enderman said, it's preference. Unless gaming is your main use case, I would go with the Browns since most people prefer them for typing...

I don't even have a mechanical keyboard...but I have tried quite a few in stores...and Browns are probably my fav...so...

I having been eyeing this keyboard for awhile and amazon put it on there Prime Day Sale. I type a lot.  I also play a lot of FPS, Sandbox, Simulation, Open World kind of games. The browns are on sale but not the Reds. People say red is for gaming, blue is for typing and brown is in the middle. Advice please. I have barley touched any mechanical keyboards and know nothing about them. Please Help

Go to a store and try them or buy a key tester.

It is 100% personal preference.

It is a one day sale. If I was smart, I would have done that. I am just gonna have to go for it.

Well then go for it, I'm sure you will enjoy either one.

Browns are typically more popular than reds, if that matters to you at all.
