wherever its the cheapest.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

PCPartPicker.com. It'll tell you if something's wrong and it'll give you the best deals. Just make sure to switch it to Canada first.

but you pay more shipping if you buy parts from different sellers so you don't necessarily save money following what PC part picker says. so i'd recommend newegg.ca because it has consistently the overall cheaper price

MemoryExpress has a couple in stock of a few different models. I imagine you'd have to act fast though.

If you're worried about when you get it by, pay the extra money for express shipping. Kind of simple...

well, then you have to price check them manually, pcpartpicker is the best consolidator of pc parts pricing that I've ever heard of, everything else I've seen that tries mismatches items and other stupid junk.

you can figure out free s+h on most things, if there's a few things you can't then you can usually get them from the same retailer, or figure out if the separate s+h is cheaper...besides newegg shipping is bleh, I've had 2 packages swiped this year...out of 3, at least newegg replaced the items, just took more time

yeah but only if you give it your address and also it doesn't average totals based on combined shipping because it only knows individual shipping meanwhile items coming from the same warehouse get put in 1 box that has 1 shipping cost (something like 20$ total even thought you might order ram, CPU, drive, and mobo that your individually add up to 6$ each).

i've never had a problem with newegg shipping and i'm in quebec so it's not even coming from inside the province

Either way, you can also tell PCPP to use a single vendor. And I'm pretty sure the website is smart enough now to account for that sort of thing. However, the whole shipping thing alone isn't a good enough reason to completely dismiss the website.

PCpartpicker is a good site for sourcing components. Pretty good in the States, for finding cheapest source. They have a Canada section. Or you can try to visit DirectCanada, it is also quite ok.
