What cooler to choose??

Go to solution Solved by For Science!,

I think the performance of 120mm AIOs are quite underwhelming, when compared to mid-high end air coolers. I think you should consider a 240 mm radiator variant like the H100i v2 which is not much more expensive. Remember that AIOs have at least 2 moving components and so will potentially not be as quiet as one may think.

So, I'm looking to buy the corsair carbide air 240 with only 120mm of cpu cooler clearance.. And I thought that I could get an aio but idk wich one to get.. Any recommendations for a liquid cooler thats up to about $100?
