Folding on gaming laptop?

Just curious what thought's are on using a laptop for f@h, I have a 1060 laptop and just put the client on it but not sure if it's worth the wear on the machine. It doesn't have stellar cooling and even though I'm only running on the gpu it's creeping up on 80c now and the cpu is hitting 80-90c because it's all connected for cooling. I love the extra 300k ppd but............ well laptops are fragile. Anyways thought's would be nice.

80-90C are within normal ranges for a laptop. My laptop used to get to nearly 100C on both CPU and GPU every now and then, and after 3 years it still works fine.

Well I downloaded speedfan on it and even though I can't control the fan it showed other sensors giving pretty high temps as well, not sure which sensors those were to but I don't like it. With such a compact setup I'm a little worried about heat soak into surrounding components. Maybe if I had the predator lineup with the added fan and what not but I don't like the idea. I'm sure temp's get pretty high when gaming but this is different, 24/7 heat soak just isn't sitting well with me.

Lappys get very hot with F@H or BOINC (only use my Lappy for big events). Best thing to do is keep it cool and put it on a cooling pad. You could always use MSI Afterburner to undervolt the GPU. Yes, less points but should produce less heat.
