EKWB Kit question- hardline ready?

Hello,

I have been looking to buy one of the EK waterblock kits. - probably the Performance series .

I wanted to know how compatible they are with Hard line PETG tubing. WIll i need to buy fittings separately if i decide to do that.

If they are aluminium you can but that depends on your loop and it's config

AFAIK, EK doesn't have fittings and such available yet for the aluminum kits. If you're getting a copper/steel/whatever one then you're fine.

Noice! I think it's the gaming kits that are aluminum.

You should be good with those kits, though you could contact EK and see for sure. @EK_Derick @EK Luc

Good god, @Zando Bob love you man but no...

@blnswamy The kit will work fine with hardline tubing but you will need new fittings alongside those tubes.  You may be better off using the EKWB configurator and setting it up similarly to the PE series of kits but with hardline tubing.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

I was gonna say it'd be better to make your own loop, but he said he wanted a kit... And I didn't know if the kit was aluminum, and AFAIK, EK's other parts don't work with alu kits. What'd I do wrong? :(

Oh, it's the kits bit.  OP was looking at the performance kit, a full copper set up.

Sorry i'm late to the party!!!  All our kits (except the Fluid Gaming line) can be upgraded by the customer to go hardline but they can't be bought with hardline fittings out of the box.  So the suggestion of choosing your own parts with the loop configurator might be the best here.  This way you won't end up with fittings and tubing that you won't use. :)

Not trying to step on anyone's toes here by advertising. But I think PPCs has the answer to your problem blnswamy.

We also sell EKWB complete liquid cooling kits. But we also have them in hard tube varieties. So feel free to check them all out, but this is our P240 kit.

We currently don't plan on making fittings for hardline in the Fluid Gaming line.

You can do it unofficially by buying the GPU connector kits.
