Coinbase buying coins

So I just realized coinbase takes 8 days to deliver coins after purchase.

If I buy 1 coin of ethereum while it's at $270 rn, when it arrives, will I still get the same amount that I bought at even if the price has fluctuated?

Why on Earth are you BUYING them? You're supposed to SELL to get REAL money in return.

you bought 1 coin. your coin will be worth what ever it's worth at the time. it may be worth $270 now, tomorrow it might be worth $100.

You will still have 1coin of ethereum yes.

You need to think about it more like currency trading. Value between different currencies will flutuate and change, but the overall store of value in that particular currency will remain the same, well besides inflation but thats another argument to join into.

So did most media before the 1929 crash...do your own research and make an educated decision for investment.

I haven't bought one yet, just clarifying. Even if I do buy it and it doesn't rise for a year, I'm not losing anything unless I sell it.

People said this exact same thing about bitcoin and now it's $2,500. If ethereum went from $0.8 to $400 in under a year, I think it will go up again.
