1080 TI Ultra high memory overclock?

Hi,

 

I managed to get memory this high, and I'm not sure if I should keep pushing it? I'm using K-Boost (EVGA Precision tool which keeps GPU usage at 100% no matter what) and Valley Benchmark to test the overclocks. Thanks in advance.

Better than mine!!!:(

Mine is not hybrid but anything over 50mhz bump and mine crashes the benchmark before it completes.  Congratulations on the lottery win...

I'd recommend you test with other programs as well, like superposition, and actual games. I can get my card to OVER 9000!!!!!  in valley and superposition, but start up an actual game and it crashes harder than the first space x rocket landing attempt

What? Every card I had can do 300mhz memory boost easily.

Dude I don't know about 1080 ti's but I'm pretty sure the pascal chips with gddr5 and 5x can hit like 9000mhz.

I can do about 100 over on Memory, but the core is stuck at about 50.  35 really.  You win some you lose some. 

I have a 970 in a different machine that will do 500 memory and 250 clock all day.  Pascal doesn't seem to be so generous.  At least not to me.

Yeah I was trying superposition when I tested.  Maybe I got a dud??

It's at 6200 Jesus Christ.

 

I think this benchmark is not great.

 

I just bumped the core clock to 2088 and it accepted the OC. Without crashing. I know it crashes at +100 so I kept it at +90. This time it's +110.

Never mind. Bumped to +680 to memory and instant crash while +110 to core clock.

Well, I know that +530 to memory works for sure in games and +90 core clock too. I originally had it at +100 core clock but The Division would crash occassionally and with Insurgency I got crashes often as well so I decided to +90 the core clock instead.

Pro tip, set it to heat, rather than power target for better results, the GPU won't worry as much about power

Well, Insurgency crashes also. The only game that doesn't crash is Battlefront (the newest one).
