When will my AiO die?

I have an H100i that I purchased in April 2015 (assembled  computer in June 2015).

 

Is it around the time that these die? I plan to get a new GPU around this time too, maybe it's time for a custom CPU+GPU loop.

it will depend, i would say you are safe to use it for 3 to 4 years.

I wouldn't trust anything pass 3 years but I mean it's not like it'll start leaking randomly. Usually just the pump will die, so I mean if you really want to go custom go for it man!

It works until the pump[ breaks which assuming astek pumps which are quite sturdy.Maybe 4-10 years.I'd say ussually around 6 years I see AIOS die

That's the advantage of Custom loops instead of buying a 160 dollar AIO you can just buy a 160 dollar Pump

my h100i has been kicking ass and taking names since like q4 2013 and it still hasnt leaked

When a AIO dies, it does not die alone. It takes everything with them to the silicon grave.

I think I'll replace my AIO when the warranty's up, just 'cause.  That being said, it's got a 5 year warranty on it.  If you notice poor cooling capability maybe, like if the coolant has degraded and you can't replace it.
