Need some advice on a PC build

This is my current PC build. I'm going to use this almost entirely for gaming. My budget is $1500. Are there any places I cut down on money so I can possibly buy a better keyboard and mouse or another monitor? Also, is there any way to check if the computer parts are compatible in size, or does pcpartpicker already show size compatibility? Plz help.

Get an aircooler and ditch the 1tb drive until you're sure you'll need it. By that time you might opt for another ssd. 

 

Though I'd get a 960 evo m.2 instead of the ssd.

You could get a 1600+B350 instead and save $150 or so (which could be put towards peripherals or monitor), or get a 1070 instead and save $100 or so (which could be put towards peripherals or monitor), or both.

I have had size warnings in relation to the case I was choosing. It might or might not give you warnings on air coolers interfering with memory or top PCI slot.

 

I would not change to an air cooler if you plan to overclock. I personally would lower the video card to a 1060 and save yourself for better peripherals. I think it would be better to upgrade the video card, monitor, and memory as spare money comes in but the 1060 has plenty of life to last until that happens.

750w is overkill ive got a system with 1080ti and 7600k for 1440p with evga 650 g2 and its overkill

plus you dont need 7700k id get better gpu before getting anything past 7600k, i run arma 3 1440p 144hz and my gpu bottlenecks as for my cpu doesnt haha its pretty crazy, unless you really want those extra cores

You can do better on a few components:

• You could probably step down to a Hyper 212 EVO cooler for ~$30. I don't think its performance is much different from the H60. I doubt you could overclock a 7700k much on a Hyper 212, but maybe a modest overclock would be alright, depending on how noisy it gets. I looked around online and saw a few people with modest OCs with a 7700k on a hyper 212 (like 4.6Ghz or 4.7Ghz).

All of that together would get you about another $125 to play with which is almost enough for a new keyboard and mouse or a cheaper monitor. By shopping around a bit more, finding rebates, or checking NewEgg for combos that include items you're already buying, you might find a bit more savings. For example, you probably only actually need like a 500 watt power supply. If you stick to a solid PSU brand like EVGA, SeaSonic, Corsair, and Antec and find one for around $35 or $40 after rebates, that nets you another $15-$20 right there.

Some other notes though:

• If you absolutely only need a 1TB hard drive, fine. However, you get way more storage for your money as you move up to around 3TB. Drives don't seem to be on sale much right now, but I've seen decent 2TB drives for around $65 and decent 3TB drives for around $90 recently. Sign up for NewEgg's newsletters and check for sales (they have at least one or two each week) and compare on Amazon.
• The flash storage market is a bit overpriced at the moment because of poor manufacturing yields, and I've seen a few things that suggest this isn't changing anytime soon and may get worse before it gets better. Depending on your needs/wants it might be worth it to go with something like a Mushkin Reactor SSD for now to get more storage for your money and tide you over for a couple years until (hopefully) SSD prices get better. Then you can plan to upgrade to an NVMe drive later on.

Size/Fit

• That case supports GPUs up to 370mm long and the GTX 1070 you selected is only 241mm, so you're good there.
• It supports Micro ATX and Full ATX motherboards up to 272mm wide, and both the Strix board and the ASRock board I recommended above will fit in that.
• It is about an inch wider than my case, and mine fits a Hyper 212 just fine so it should fit as well. This isn't a concern if you stick with an all-in-one water cooler.

None of the other components should have any size issues as they are standard form factors.
